From January 28 to February 1, 2024, the National Records and Archives Authority is organizing a training program in reading records and manuscripts for a group of 20 specialists. The program contains several themes, including enhancing participants’ knowledge about records and manuscripts, introducing the approaches and rules of writing records and manuscripts, and improving the skills of reading and verifying Omani records and manuscripts.
The importance of this program lies in improving the skills and the capabilities of participants and providing them with extra experience. This program aims at highlighting the importance of raising the level of actual performance that enables staff to overcome the challenges they face and to keeping up with the latest updates and techniques used in the field of management of records and archives.
