NRAA Continued Preparations for the Sixth International Conference
The conference preparation committee that was formed by NRAA and National Council for Culture, Arts and Literature held several meetings and discussion sessions to prepare for the Sixth International Conference “Oman’s Relations with the Countries of the Indian Ocean and the Gulf from the Seventeenth to the Nineteenth Century” and the accompanying exhibition scheduled to be held in Kuwait from 11th to 13th December, 2017.
In the framework of the preparation for this conference H.E. Dr. Hamad Al-Dhawyani, NRAA’s Chairman, had a meeting with H.E. Eng. Ali Al-Yoha, the Secretary-General of National Council for Culture, Arts and Literature in Kuwait, to discuss conference related tasks. In this meeting, they assigned tasks to the concerned committees, identified conference requirements, prepared a proposal for organizational and administrative aspects for all the requirements including audiovisual and digital devices, interpreting, exhibition’s needs and preparations.
NRAA’s delegation also met H.E. Dr. Adnan Al-Ansari, the Omani Ambassador in Kuwait to discuss the requirements and preparation that lead to the success of the conference and realization of its purposes.
