Training Program for Records Management Students

A training program for students specializing in records management has initiated at the main building of the National Records and Archives Authority, scheduled from July 14 to 18. The program aims to equip participants with the necessary knowledge and skills in the field of records management. Additionally, it seeks to enhance students’ competencies and prepare them to face challenges in records management, thereby developing their practical and theoretical skills.
This program aligns with the role of the National Records and Archives Authority in developing human resources both academically and professionally. It collaborates with various institutions to enrich the educational process and to provide an educational and training environment that contributes to enhancing the quality of vocational training. This initiative also aims to achieve the principle of partnership and cooperation between the Authority and educational institutions, in line with pioneering role in promoting the concept of community partnership.
The program organized by the National Records and Archives Authority covers several main topics, including the mechanism for setting up a records management system, the importance of managing intermediate records, and their storage locations. The program will also address the procedures for sorting and destroying records, transferring them to the Authority, as well as the legal and legislative procedures for records management and preventive measures to protect public records in emergency situations.
