Fourth International Conference “Oman in the International Press” Muscat, October 2016
The book presents the conference through six studies on the most important documents related to the Sultanate in the international press, which seeks to analyze and discuss the contents and pictures presented by the Arab and international press about Oman and its cultural role in extended periods of history. The National Documents and Archives Authority aims at studying the importance of the newspaper as a historical document, in addition to benefiting from international experiences in how to adopt the media content as a historical document, as well as studying the image of Amman and its civilizational development in the international press. And the Omani archives and relics in the international press. It also aims to shed light on the most important figures and observations observed by the international press in Amman, and to consolidate and document the image of Oman through scientific studies and photographs.
