30 January، 2016Muscat, Nov 23 Dr. Hamad bin Mohammed al-Dhoyani, Chairman of the National Records and Archives Authority (NRAA) today received a delegation from the Malaysian National Archives, currently visiting the Sultanate.
The two sides reviewed aspects of the joint cooperation between the two countries particularly in the field of documents and archives and viewing the Sultanate’s experience in this field.
The two sides stressed the importance of the role of documents and archives in all countries of the world that seek to preserve them and build modern systems for management of documents and archives, as well as the NRAA essential role in this area.
The visiting delegation viewed the NRAA mission and role in educating the local and international community and the NRAA contributions in the historic and civilized aspects of the Sultanate through organizing document exhibitions and local and international seminars.
Then, the delegation toured various divisions at the NRAA and watched a presentation on the NRAA objectives, prerogatives and works.
