The National Records and Archives Authority publishes the book “Issuance of Postage Stamps in the Sultanate of Oman”
The NRAA has recently issued the book “Issuance of Postage Stamps in the Sultanate of Oman”. The book that contains 326 pages is an important guide for history of the Omani stamps, since the first issue in 1944 AD, which are Indian stamps known as (Al Busaid 1363) issued on the occasion of the 200th anniversary of the rule of the Al Busaid dynasty in the Sultanate of Oman, passing through the British stamps marked in the local currency from 1948-1966 AD. Finally, the writer displays the stage of postal independence since 1966.
