About the book
The National Records & Archives Authority has published the twelfth volume of the Researches and Studies Series in National and International Records entitled “Omani-French Relations – Historical, Political, Economic and Military Aspects”, which is an extension of the series issued by the Authority. This volume aims at intensely studying the Omani-French relations included the political, cultural, economic, social and military mutual history. It also proves that the interaction between the two countries is reflected in various historical stages. The study also aims at emphasizing the common view of Oman and the Republic of France to highlight these relations and to perpetuate this ties to ensure its continuity, to develop communication and friendship and to consolidate this for generations. The interaction is represented in highlighting the cultural links that contributes in drawing the nature of relations between Oman and the Republic of France.
