كتاب باللغة الفرنسية للمستشرق الفرنسي ” غبريال فيغون”، منش ور في 1921-1925م، ذكر فيه أن الملاح أحمد بن ماجد من جلفار في إقليم عمان، وأن جلفار هي وطن ابن ماجد، أرقام الصفحات (196، 197، 206).

A book entitled “INSTRUCTIONS NAUTIQUES ET ROUTIERS AlUBES ET PORTUGAIS” by the French orientalist Gabriel FERRAND and published in 1928. The writer mentions that the navigator Ahmed Ibn Majid is from Julfar in Oman province and Julfar is Ahmed Ibn Majid’s country (pages: 196, 197,206).
