In order to establish a documentary system based on scientific bases, it aims at organizing the access to the archives, how to make use of them, and making use of them, in order to facilitate their availability in accordance with the rules and procedures governing the work.

Second: Entry procedures

The beneficiary must present the beneficiary's card to the receptionist at each visit and use it to access the portal.

The beneficiary is obliged to log into the reading room or the library in the designated register.

No material or equipment is allowed inside the reading room or library except for papers, pencils, personal documents, money, fabricated, and anything precious. The beneficiary must set his own personal items that are forbidden to be included in the designated treasury. The key remains in his custody until he leaves the library. The Authority shall be responsible for the loss of any custody of the Beneficiary.

Access to the Reading Room or Library is not permitted until the above procedures have been met.

Fourth: Departure

The beneficiary must return the cabinet key to the appropriate employee.

The beneficiary shall sign the departure in the relevant register.

Fifth: Working hours

Working days are from 8:30 am to 1:30 pm.

Sixth: Payment of fees

Fees for archival copies are paid using an electronic credit card.

First: Registration

Those wishing to make use of archival or library search services for the first time must register their personal data in the electronic system and provide proof of identity to the receptionist.

The applicant is granted a ``beneficiary card`` which allows him to enter the library and library

The use of floppy disks and special compact discs in the reading room or library is prohibited.

Rules and procedures for archives

Controls for cloning archives

The request for reproduction of the archives shall be submitted to the auditor of the auditorium, in accordance with the form prepared for that purpose.

The archives shall be reproduced to the extent permitted by the requirements for the proper preservation of the archives and for the purposes of research, and shall be cited in accordance with the number permitted by the Commission.

The circulation of the copied archives and their use for commercial or utility purposes shall be prohibited without the written consent of the Authority.

The beneficiary may obtain copies and contents authenticated by the archives that belong to him, after submitting a request on the form prepared for this, and payment of the prescribed fees.

The beneficiary may obtain hard copies or electronic copies of the archives in the Authority, after paying the prescribed fees.

Controls for browsing archives

The user can use the computers in the hall to find the references of the documents to be consulted.

The beneficiary may use the paper search tools available in the Hall of View to be returned to their places upon completion of their use.

The beneficiary may request four files per day, and no more than one file or document unit may be made available at the same time, and the beneficiary shall return the archives that were made available to him prior to obtaining other documents.

The archives are viewed inside the Reading Room, and the Insider is responsible for the archives available to him to refer them to the Auditor.

The beneficiary must maintain the order assigned to the archives within the file, and the supervisor of the hall shall be informed of any file that has a defect in the order of his documents

The beneficiary booked one file for two consecutive working days, returning to the room the next day.

Article (27)

The period specified in Article (26)

The law is for sixty years for the following archives:

B. Archives relating to investigations, statistics and any other archives containing information about individuals concerning their actions and behavior and their personal and family lives

C. Archives relating to cases brought before the courts that are related to the personal or family lives of individuals, and the period from the date of the decision or judgment in the case or from the date of closure of the file is final.

Any person who has been allowed access to the archives may, in accordance with this provision

B. The Chairman of the Commission may permit access to archives for reasons of public interest or

The requirements of scientific research, subject to the consent of the body that established such archives, taking into consideration

The confidentiality of personal life or the security and safety of the homeland shall not be affected.

C. Any interested party may obtain copies and contents authenticated by the archives

The period specified in Article (26) of this law shall be increased to 100 years in respect of

About the resolution

In order to promote scientific research, intellectual and artistic creativity, work on the proper use of archives, facilitate access to archives and highlight the cultural, scientific and educational value of the archives, using all means, the Commission issued the decision (1/2015) dated 10 November 2015 by His Excellency Mr. Haitham bin Tariq Al Said, the Minister supervising the Authority for determining fees for services provided by the Authority.

The Commission also issued Resolution No. (292/2015) dated 10 November 2015 by His Excellency Dr. Chairman of the Commission on the work of the rules and procedures for access to archives in the Authority.

Researchers and researchers can access the website of the Commission to search and see the available documents or visit the Department of access documents at the headquarters of the Commission.
