The Sultanate and Spain Singned an archives agreement

The Omani / Yemeni Committee finished the twelfth meeting, which was hosted by the Sultanate. The committee was represented by the Ministry of Transport and Communications from the Omani side, His Excellency Dr. Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Futaisi , Minister of Transport and Communications who chaired the committee’s activities. While the Yemeni side was headed by His Excellency Dr.Waaed Abdullah Baadib, Transport Minister of the Republic of Yemen. The two sides signed the report of the Twelfth Meeting of the Oman / Yemen Committee.
Both sides also signed an agreement in the field of archives and documents between the two countries and the report of the third meeting of the Maritime committee. In addition, they signed an agreement about the liberalization of the atmosphere between both countries. And His Excellency Dr. Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Futaisi , Minister of Transport and Communications talked about the fruitful cooperation between Oman and The Republic of Yemen and the serious debate in all issues that were addressed during the meetings of the Committee, wishing His Excellency that the cooperation between the two countries leads to a deep fruitful cooperation and benefits both sides. The Minister declared that the Omani/ Yemeni sides signed an agreement in the field of documents and archives to take advantage of the expertise and experience of Omani staff in this field.. he added that that the activation of Airlines activities between Oman and Yemen and sea ports aimed at opening channels of communication between the two countries, which will facilitate the movement of goods and individuals , pointing out that both sides discussed and approved criteria and conditions for this mutual cooperation and collaboration. They also discussed issues related to customs, education and other fields. His Excellency, Yemeni Minister of Transport said that the Sultanate of Oman and Yemen share a bilateral close relations in all important domains such as , economic, social and political affairs. Concerning the domain of documents and archives, his Excellency explained that it was agreed to cooperate and take advantage of the expertise and rare manuscripts between the two sides. The Yemeni minister stressed that the Omani / Yemeni relations have begun to improve at all levels thanks to the wisdom of the two countries leaders: His Majesty Sultan Qaboos Bin Said may God save him and, President Abed Rabbo Mansour Hadi, President of the Republic Yemeni.
